I have been baking since I was a little girl with both of my grandmothers. Both had their own specialties that I loved making (and eating!) with them! I first started seriously baking after taking a local cake decorating class in high school. My friends loved me since I always brought my cake projects in to school to eat the next day!
I went on to get my degree in baking and pastry arts in Michigan, where I grew up. While in school and after graduation, I worked as a bakery manager at a wonderful place near my hometown. There, we took on everything from catering events to birthday cakes, and to baking large, beautiful wedding cakes. A couple of cross country moves and many custom cakes later, Diego and I now call Southern California home. We love providing delicious, beautiful cakes and desserts to our clients!
