My name is Erin. 
It's nice to 'meet' you!

I have always had a passion for desserts, which began when I was little and I opened my very first easy bake oven on Christmas. I remember thinking it was the coolest toy I could think of and I loved that I could actually bake something real to share with my friends and family. So I put on my apron and have been baking ever since! 

After graduating from the Le Cordon Bleu California School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena, California I worked in cities from Las Vegas to San Francisco’s Union Square and landed back in my home town of sunny San Diego, where our wedding season never ends. 

While I’ve made a lot of upgrades since my easy bake oven, I found my love for making cakes while building a big sculpted golf bag for my dad’s surprise 50th birthday, and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. I’d always grown up loving different art mediums and making cakes just seemed to be the perfect fit – I could use my creativity to make something beautiful and unique using a medium that would also be delicious to eat!
